Healing Chakras with Acupuncture

Tip: To boost the immune system by way of the thymus gland and to stimulate the heart chakra you can tap the center of your Sternum (Chest) with the last 3 fingers of either hand a few times a day. The last 3 fingers are connected to the heart by other pathways, so using them to tap the sternum allows for a connection of heart energy to be made, amplifying the area.

The Chakra system is a non-physical part of the human body, it is an energetic layer of colors and vibrations that give life to the physical body. It is said that the way we live our lives, our habits, understandings and bodily imbalances, for the most part, arise from our chakras. They also have a strong connection to our past lives, if someone was greatly injured in a past life, a weakness in that chakra’s area will manifest with in the next reincarnation.

In the chakra system there are 7 major chakra’s, plus hundreds of smaller ones through out the body.  As you can see above, the chakras are identified by color and location.  They run up the vertical center of our bodies connecting Earth and Heaven energies. In the world of acupuncture, all acupuncture points are also considered Micro chakras, which weave a web of energy through out the body. 

There are many ways to work with the chakras and acupuncture is a very unique tool in doing so. When actually puncturing the skin, the needles are able to deeply affect the energies of the chakras. Fortunately, the needles are very thin and little, so they hardly cause any discomfort.

According to author and acupuncturist Mikio Sankey, there are numerous acupuncture needle patterns, which are based of off Sacred Geometry that can activate and heal all the chakras.  These Esoteric acupuncture treatments are meant to help bring people beyond optimal physical health into high levels of spiritual awareness.
